Jacquelyn Pavelko, Owner and Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist of Mobility Etc., has dedicated her life to making a difference for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Her journey began at Western Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies in 2006 and a Master of Art in Orientation and Mobility in 2007.

Jacquelyn's career has been marked by her unwavering passion and commitment. From her early roles at the VA Hospital in California to her impactful work with nonprofits in Charlotte, NC, and Savannah, GA, she has always been driven by a deep desire to empower those she serves. In 2010, she moved to Virginia to work for a contracting company, and by 2014, she founded Mobility Etc., turning her vision into reality.

By 2018, Mobility Etc. was operating independently, providing comprehensive O&M services. Jacquelyn's dedication to her field is evident not only in her full-time work but also in her role as a mentor, supervising interns and guiding the next generation of specialists. Her commitment to professional growth led her to complete the Assistive Technology Certificate program from UMass Boston with honors in 2024.
